We Interrupt Your Regularly Scheduled Programming Yet Again

Howdy.

The trials and tribulations that is the world of me have taken another strange twist. Yesterday, the adaptor to my laptop had unfortunately bit the dust after two years.

Which means that until I can get another one (which will make a very good post about crappy customer service), I won't be able to visit any of my other 40+ blogs with the degree of frequency that I usually do. For the time being, I'll be maintaining my blogs from the household computer (which kind of sucks since the parental unit installed monitoring software to prevent my two kids from freely surfing the 'net, which is a good thing).

The other unfortunate side effect is that my writing has come to a screeching halt, since I'll only be able to write with pen and paper (the horror!) for the next week or so.

As always, I thank you for visiting my blog, and I hope to be able to return the favor very, very soon.

We return you now to your regularly scheduled programming.

  1. Hopefully your parental software has blocked your kids from my site..ha ha

  2. Good luck adaptor shopping. I kind of like writing pen to paper every now and then. There's a different connection with it, and when I eventually input into Word, there's my first edit.

  3. Bearman: Not to worry, they can't get there from here. My blog address is nowhere to be found on the household computer, therefore, they can't get to your nifty blog.

Joanne: So far, I'm batting .000. I went to their e-store site, and found that the adaptor I need for my computer is out of stock.

I'm giving them until Tuesday to get restocked, then I'll have to go to PC Farms and buy a universal one.

I agree with the different connection of pen and paper. When I write with pen/paper, I'm more careful about what I say, simply because I'm so picky about having things making sense the first time around.

And I agree, when I finally put to Word, that becomes my first edit.

Go on, give me your best shot. I can take it. If I couldn't, I wouldn't have created this wonderful little blog that you decided to grace with your presence today.

About that comment moderation thingy: While yes, it does say up above I can take it, I only use it to prevent the occasional miscreant from leaving thoughtless and/or clueless comments.

So remember, all of your comments are greatly appreciated and all answers will be given that personal touch that you come to expect and enjoy.
