50 Random ?s: #1-25

Howdy y'all.

A nifty blog I started following about a couple of months ago called Breath of Insanity was impressed enough with me as a person (or blogger, or shoot, just felt sorry for me) to tag me with a meme (ya'll remember those, right?) about week ago or so.

I figured since the last time I did one was earlier this spring (and quite badly I might add), I felt it was high time to do another. However, considering how large this one is, I figured it would be easier on everyone (realistically, easier on me) to break this bad boy in parts. And if you so desire, feel free to do any part of this meme on your blog, just remember to give credit to the one that passed it on to you (not me, but Breath of Insanity).

So without further ado, here are ?s 1-25 (along with enough links to keep you happy):

1} Where were you three hours ago?: At work messing up people's paychecks.

2} Who are you in love with?: Officially, my wife.

3} Have you ever eaten a crayon?: No.

4} Is there anything pink within ten feet of you?: Bedspread (no comment from the peanut gallery).

5} When was the last time you went to the mall?: April of this year, Westfarms Mall.

7} Do you have a car worth over $2000?: Yes. Oldsmobile Alero.

10} Are you hot?: Physically, no. To others, yes.

11} What was the last thing you had to drink?: Water.

12} What are you wearing right now?: Boots, white socks, black jeans, Bazooka Joe t-shirt.

13} Do you wash your car or do you let the car wash do it?: Neither, I let Mother Nature do it.

14} Last food you ate?: Ham and Cheese on rye with mayo, onions and sweet peppers (and no, no link for this one) and a bag of Cape Cod Kettle Cooked Sour Cheddar/Jack potato chips.

15} Where were you last week at this time?: In front of my computer writing a piece of flash fiction laced with spirituality. Or watching FoxNews, I can't remember which.

16} Have you bought any clothing items in the last week?: Right.......

17} When was the last time you ran?: Thirty-five years ago.

21} Last person's house you were in?: My brother's about three weeks ago.

22} Worst injury you ever had?: Bruised sternum and cracked rib from rolling my car over a guardrail back in 1984.

23} Have you ever been in love?: See question #2.

24} Do you miss anyone right now?: My dad.

25} Last play you saw?: I don't remember the title, but it was back in the mid 90's.
Sometime in the next couple of weeks, ?s 26-50.

  1. Are you hot?: Physically, no. To others, yes

Hilarious...I will be stealing this line.

  2. I enjoyed the look-see into your world. And, in particular, that's a great family pic that I missed the first time around.

  3. Interesting side of you here. I totally "get" the cat remark. We have one of those too. It's their world, we just live in it.

  4. Bearman: Feel free to steal the line. If you saw the picture, then you know it makes perfect sense.

And yes, that line is 100% true.

David: Glad I could brighten a few minutes out of your day.

And thanks for the compliment about the family pic. Believe it or not, there aren't too many pics of me floating around the house right now. I got a couple from my vacation last year, but I don't want to send anyone running away from screaming in terror.

  5. I'm trying really hard not to ask about the pink bedspread.

  6. "Have you ever eaten a crayon?" - lol!

    They are certainly random questions.

Thanks for the little glimpses of your life.

  7. Joanne: Thanks. I normally don't do meme's because I figured that I talked about myself to death here, but this was actually a fun one to do.

Cats. They don't really need you unless it's breakfast or dinner.

Charles: Thanks. I really don't think I can come up with a reasonable explanation.

Talon: More than welcome. Once you get a better feel of the blog, you'll find that I'm quite the multi-faceted individual.

  8. "Officially in love." I like that!

  9. Yes - we love our bossy and aloof cats, don't we? Thank you for the glimpse...

  10. Mama Zen: It's an incredibly safe answer to give. It also happens to be true, but it does get people thinking.

Lynn: Sometimes we do at that. You're welcome for the glimpse.

  11. I like how you let Mother Nature wash the car. You're a friend to the environment :) A Bazooka Joe t-shirt? That's from the archives, real cool.

  12. Nah....just lazy. I don't even remember the last time I actually went to a car wash.

The Bazooka Joe shirts I have are nothing like what they got on their website. Mine are jet black, which I got the old fashioned way, buy chewing a lot of horrible sugar free Bazooka. Yup 15 comics pluse $7.50 got me the shirts (I have six in all).

I also got a Bazooka Joe bobble head as well.

  13. This was GREAT!! Loved these glimpses into you. Bazooka Joe tee - is it an ancient one with lots of comfortable holes?

Your sandwich sounds AWESOME. Still another 25 mins until dinner here.

And we watch Fox news too! Especially enjoyed that final tidbit, Georgie.

  14. Unfortunate, no. But they're a big hit with the drunks at various sporting events.

The sandwich was something I had a week ago at work before I went on vacation.

I do enjoy Fox News and I've been watching it for the past fifteen years or so. I still think it's the best thing out there for a national cable channel. The only thing that we have here for a regional equivalent is something called New England Cable News.

Go on, give me your best shot. I can take it. If I couldn't, I wouldn't have created this wonderful little blog that you decided to grace with your presence today.

About that comment moderation thingy: While yes, it does say up above I can take it, I only use it to prevent the occasional miscreant from leaving thoughtless and/or clueless comments.

So remember, all of your comments are greatly appreciated and all answers will be given that personal touch that you come to expect and enjoy.
