After a one week hiatus, Shooting Suburbia returns with a new post for your entertainment and enjoyment.
The next month's worth of posts will feature Newington, Newington center and a few of the surrounding communities (including work as well).
Be prepared to be amazed, stunned, incredulous and bored to tears as G tries to pass off his mundane life as something completely different.
To quote the band Madness:
One Step Beyond!
By the way, I want to wish all you Dads out there, no matter what gender (what, single moms can be Dads), a very happy Father's Day

Go on, give me your best shot. I can take it. If I couldn't, I wouldn't have created this wonderful little blog that you decided to grace with your presence today.
About that comment moderation thingy: While yes, it does say up above I can take it, I only use it to prevent the occasional miscreant from leaving thoughtless and/or clueless comments.
So remember, all of your comments are greatly appreciated and all answers will be given that personal touch that you come to expect and enjoy.

And a Happy Father's Day to you too. I gave my daughter, a single Mom, a Father's Day card. She just laughed outloud but then said, "Yeah, I'm that too." :)Bea
ReplyDeleteHave a good one, G!
ReplyDeleteHappy Father's Day!
ReplyDeleteHaha! I LOVED this Shooting Suburbia segment, G! the pictures were so random, yet fit together perfectly with your post.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see more of that Newington Centre.
Happy Father's Day to you:)
B: Thanks. Glad I was able to give you a chuckle for the day.
ReplyDeleteMost of my pictures have no discernable pattern to speak of (beauty of the moment I guess), so it becomes a challenge in coming up with something interesting to say.
And thanks for the F-day wishes.
haha your rabbit is cute. Happy Father's Day, hope you're staying cool. Will wave when we pass your way heading down to the shore tommow. Old Saybrook and Old Lyme here we come! Been posting to the blog again. FB was too boring. hehe
ReplyDeleteJeanne: Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI took care of your other comment. I figured you came back to add the FB comment to it, since this one was a carbon copy of the first one.
Happy Father's day G. Damn I'm always late! Just put it down to the time difference between the UK and States.
ReplyDeleteThanks. And my forgive my tardiness for wishing you a happy Father's day as well.

Sometimes my girls will wish me a happy Dad's day- (single Mom- now Gram) this year not one call... Oh well- Mostly I just really miss my Dad! 20 years gone already! (sigh!)
My Sunday went very well thank you. Kids took me out to dinner and gave me a nice t-shirt as a present.
ReplyDeleteMostly for that day, I had some fantastic peace and quiet in which to do some writing and some editing.
