Holly

Would you believe that I drew a complete blank for a post today? Because I couldn't think of anything witty or innnnnnnnnnnnteresting (imagine Bugs Bunny doing his impersonation of a hairdresser) to write about, I shall instead send you into the weekend with a picture of the cat that chooses to call me its caretaker.

  1. I just went to my google reader to find 2 blogs that I follow with the title Holly. Weird! Must be the time of the year.

    Cute cat.

  3. Looks like Mr. Cat is working a bit of a Hitler stash on his upper lip.

  4. Joe: Definitely weird. Perhaps great minds think alike. :D

Lynn: Thanks. She's a bit strange, so she fits in perfectly with her caretaker.

Charles: Never really noticed it like that before but you could be right.

Travis: Wait until you see Monday's post, when I go into excruciating detail about my blogger's block.

However, yours was incredibly hilarious this morning.

  5. Awwwwww! What a sweet kitty! Oddly enough, one of my blog buddies also had a picture of cats on his blog, and I am about to write about cats on mine.

  7. "Jolly Holly" is my standard holiday greeting, btw! Holly is not only a Xmas plant, but a sweet looking kitty too!
See, that's what I often do- Upload a pic into the post window, then see what comes out the keypad by itself! Come to think of it, I just did that!

  8. 13/13: Thanks. She is a great stress reducer as well.

Talon: Thanks. She is a charmer at that, although sometimes I do have to discipline her when she decides to pick on my mother's dog.

Snaggle: Very kewl. I don't have a standard holiday greeting, but I do have a tendency to call her "Furrball" whenever my brain shuts down from a whacked out day.

  9. worry not, your mind shall return with thoughts of wonder and magnificence.

Sooner if you trade n the cat for a dog... :-)

  10. Darth: I would think that if I traded the cat for a dog, it would take that much longer to rebound. :D

  12. Jeanne: Yes, the furrballs are always a good backup plan. Problem is that I only have one furrball and only four shots of said furrball.

  14. David: I think it gave everyone a chuckle. Especially if you read the post to which he was referring to.

Go on, give me your best shot. I can take it. If I couldn't, I wouldn't have created this wonderful little blog that you decided to grace with your presence today.

About that comment moderation thingy: While yes, it does say up above I can take it, I only use it to prevent the occasional miscreant from leaving thoughtless and/or clueless comments.

So remember, all of your comments are greatly appreciated and all answers will be given that personal touch that you come to expect and enjoy.
